You can see all the pictures and videos of the Sydney Opera House, but still not be able to take in and stand in awe of its architecture. Let alone just the history of it being built, and that it almost never completed, is a testament unto itself. Highly recommend the guided docent tour of the Opera House. You'll get to visit each of the 7 performance venues that include; the Concert Hall,
the Opera Theatre, Playhouse, Drama Theatre, The Studio, the Forecourt and the Utzon Room.
The trees that live in Bryce Canyon are a thing of wonder, almost fairytale like in their structure, clinging to life on the edge of canyon, with sparse foliage barely making it. It is almost like the tree just wants to give up but the roots have another plan.
It doesn’t get any better than this. I could sit here, time and time again, and never tire of this beauty. Besides the stunning sights and sounds you see while traveling to places like this, one of my favorite parts is the meditative state it puts you in, especially when you are alone by yourself. You realize the enormity of the scene before you and how tiny and small you are in the grand scheme of things on the planet we live, let alone the universe. And then to be treated to a view like this and shortly thereafter, the Milky Way appearing directly behind the arch, I almost had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. As the saying goes, lighting never strikes twice.
