Bryce Canyon National Park is one of my all-time favorite parks to visit. It's not one of the most visited, compared to Zion close by, but I am ok with that. Keep the crowds and tourists away, and have it all to myself. Views like this, I never tire of and are a regular occurrence for one to see at the rim of the canyon. Being one of the darkest skies in all of North America, one can see on a cloudless night, up to around 7,500 stars. And seeing the Milky Way like this, with the naked eye, is normal. Depending on what time of year you are there, you could be lucky enough to see the Milky Way stretch from one side of the sky to the other, a full 180 degree view of wonder above the canyon.
